Moving Still

$288.00

Meet the Sabiala edition that we're calling Moving Still. This Sabiala features original art by the incredible Adam Masava who has mastered the poetic beauty of the everyday hustle. From water jerricans stacked high on a bicycle to delivery drivers caught mid-mission, every figure is pulled from real life on  and reimagined in bold, brilliant detail.

Masava paints people in motion — working, pushing, carrying, living — and we’re obsessed. His figures don’t just exist on the coat; they travel with you.

Each coat is a walking tribute to the unsung poetry of urban life. Raw. Real. Remarkable.

Meet the Sabiala Artist

Adam Masava

Moving Still

Adam Masava, a Kenyan artist and teacher, grew up in the Mukuru kwa Njenga slums of East Nairobi. Currently, most of the work he creates portrays life in the informal settlement, giving detail and depth to the environment in which he grew up. His commitment to the area he calls home is exemplified by his volunteer work teaching kids from various Nairobi slums, including Mukuru kwa Njenga and Kibera. Adam has been developing his unique styles over the past 10 years – his experience, talent, and generosity have given rise to several other area artists through his creation of the Mukuru Arts Club, which facilitates the learning and mentorship of many aspiring artists from Nairobi.
